Bisabolol for Seborrheic dermatitis

The "calm-down" molecule in many sensitive-skin formulas. Reduces redness and stinging without bleaching your barrier, and plays nicely on top of retinoids or exfoliating acids.

Why it works for Seborrheic dermatitis

Calms the redness and inflammation in facial patches. It comes from chamomile and turns down the skin's inflammation signals. It is used in facial creams that pair it with an antifungal (piroctone olamine), and those creams have beaten plain cream in trials for mild to moderate facial seborrheic dermatitis.

How Bisabolol works

Chamomile-derived sesquiterpene alcohol that suppresses TNF-α and IL-6 in keratinocytes and macrophages and dampens TPA-induced skin inflammation in dose-dependent fashion.
